Children are constantly fascinated by things that change. This could be the seasons, slime, or music!
Things that change tend to wrap the child’s attention leading them to the next emotional kick in their life!
The Sonic Kitchen presents an exciting branch of STEAM incursions called Head Sparks!
Head Sparks is a 10 week STEAM program!
This means there will be one lesson per week for 10 weeks, and it is available in term 2, 3, and 4 every year.
Head Sparks is a combination of interactive light & sound environments (like the vivid festival), presentations, and workshops. The central theme being sound, but extending to electricity, light, music, and magnetism.

Hey There! : To run Head Sparks we need the following.
1. You must have access that is at ground level, or a ramp, else have a working lift.
2. You must have a big room to host these learning.
3. You must have blinds on your windows and no skylights.
